Subsequently, she obtained her Juris Doctor Degree in Australia, following which, she returned to her hometown and articled for a prominent and reputable criminal defence firm in Toronto.

After her call to the Ontario Bar, Ms Rokni worked as a criminal defence lawyer for a busy and well-known law firm in Ottawa and went on to open her own practice in Toronto in 2016.
