At the Penn State Law’s Center for Immigrants’ Rights, Elham participated in preparation of the toolkit outlined immigration remedies available specifically for non-citizen victims of crimes for the Centre County Women’s Resource Center’s Civil Legal Representation Project (CLRP), the division of the Centre County Women’s Resource Center (CCWRC) that provides legal advice and representation to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in family law matters. Subsequently, she was interviewed by media outlets including Voice of America. Elham speaks Farsi and enjoys participating in immigration panel discussions on behalf of Shabahang, the Iranian Cultural Society of America.

Elham is admitted to the New York State Bar and authorized to practice before DHS and all U.S. immigration courts. Elham is also a Board Member of the Northern California Iranian American Bar Association (IABA), and is committed to assisting families affected by the 212(f) travel ban as well as permanent residents with delayed naturalization cases.

She is also committed to the training and development of other immigration lawyers, and is an involved member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association Northern California and Santa Clara Valley (AILA NorCal and SCV) Chapters.
