Meet Your Dentist Pegah Salami DMD

She made the dean’s list three years in a row before she graduated from UCSD in 1996 with her bachelor’s degree in general biology.

She then earned her dental degree, cum laude, at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2001.

She continues her education through many postgraduate courses and seminars every year.

Most recently, her educational focus has been in the areas of orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign certification, and becoming a sedation dentist through DOCS, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

She is a member of the California Dental Association (CDA), American Dental Association (ADA), San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). A local, Dr. Salami attended Torrey Pines.

She and her husband live with their three children in San Diego. She enjoys oil painting, cooking, and keeping fit with Pilates.
