Opening our doors to the great people of Houston in 1986, there is the first and oldest Persian restaurant in Texas. Although Middle-eastern restaurants were present at the time, none catered to the fast-moving pace of Houstonians.

Owner, Fred Parchini conceived the idea of a fast-food Persian restaurant in order to fill this niche in the market with Darband Shishkabob.

Our family operated business was founded with an emphasis on fresh quality and superior customer service on a consistent basis while keeping low prices in mind. Keeping with these traditions, today we are proud and honoured to have served thousands and thousands of customers from around the world.
